چکیده
Tomato black ring virus (TBRV) and beet ringspot (BRSV) are closely related but distinct members of subgroup B the genus Nepovirus. Both viruses have broad host ranges transmitted by seed, pollen, ectoparasitic nematodes. Although 13 TBRV 3 BRSV genome sequences were already available, no attempt has been made to link sequence data from these recent with those historical isolates studied in pre-sequencing era. High-throughput sequencing was used generate eight new three >60-year-old two >30-year-old isolates, more isolates. These Czech Republic, Germany, UK. We compared all genomes sequenced previously. Intraspecies recombination (three four isolates) frequent amongst genomes. Interspecies also present within RNA1 BRSV-3393 SG GB BRSV-9888 ST GB. No satellite RNAs associated Two commercial enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits detect during routine testing differed that one detected only other BRSV, so they likely provide incorrect potentially complementary occurrence information. suggest both ELISA kits, or appropriate molecular tests, be biosecurity authorities avoid this problem. This study illustrates value preserved

Detection and Identification of Tomato Ring Spot Virus in Ornamental Plants in North Khorasan Province
In recent years, the symptoms of viral diseases such as dwarfism, mosaic, discoloration, necrosis, and circular spots have been prevalent in ornamental plants in parks, gardens, and streets in North Khorasan Province. Tomato ring spot virus (ToRSV) belongs to the Nepovirus genus of Secoviridae family. This virus is a major cause of the infection of ornamental plants in the world. In this study,...
متن کاملNucleotide sequence of tomato ringspot virus RNA-2.
The sequence of tomato ringspot virus (TomRSV) RNA-2 has been determined. It is 7273 nucleotides in length excluding the 3' poly(A) tail and contains a single long open reading frame (ORF) of 5646 nucleotides in the positive sense beginning at position 78 and terminating at position 5723. A second in-frame AUG at position 441 is in a more favourable context for initiation of translation and may...
متن کاملNatural recombination between Tomato yellow leaf curl virus-is and Tomato leaf curl virus.
The complete genome sequences (2791 and 2793 nt) of isolates of Tomato yellow leaf curl virus-Is (TYLCV-Is) from Spain (SP72/97) and Portugal (Port2/95) were determined. These isolates are closely related to TYLCV-Is isolates reported in Japan (Japan-A and Japan-S) and Israel (Israel/Mild). Comparison of all sequenced isolates of TYLCV-Is showed that part of the genome comprising the intergenic...

متن کاملMolecular characterization and construction of an infectious clone of a pepper isolate of Beet curly top Iran virus
Geminiviruses cause curly top disease, in dicotyledonous plants which constrains host crop production. Beet curly top Iran virus (BCTIV) is a widespread Becurtovirus (family Geminiviridae) in numerous areas within Iran. In this study, we isolated and analyzed a full-length genomic DNA of a new variant of BCTIV from pepper crops in the Kaftark region, east of Shiraz (proposed acronym: BCTIV-Kaf ...
